Anti-LGBT laws is any legislature that intentionally or unintentioally harms, oppresses, excludes, or marginalises members at any intersection of the LGBT, gay, queer or GSRM communities. More broadly, anti-LGBT laws can be defined as any legislature that directly or indirectly upholds, enforces and propagates heteronormative ideals and norms.
Trans-exclusionary radical feminists have attempted, and in many cases succeeded, in bringing into effect laws that harm trans people. One of their recent attempts to undermine the human rights of trans people has been to petition the UN to create transmisogynistic legislation. They wish to create cis-only women's bathrooms "under the premise that providing rights protections under the classes of gender identity and gender expression "erodes" womens' rights."
